After the first window went back into the garage door that was my dads first reaction...and I must say I LOVE it! With a relatively quick and affordable change the garage door went from outdated and ugly to modern and fabulous. When I purchased the house, the wood casing around the garage door was bare weathered wood; so I had to start by sanding down, filling and painting the trim, which instantly made it look more finished, and I went ahead and spray painted the weather stripping as well since the plastic had yellowed. The panels were able to be unscrewed and the diamond pattern was a plastic cover that popped right off. The "frosting" on the glass is a type of contact paper or film that you apply to the glass; if you ever want to frost glass I highly recommend the Gila Privacy Control, I found it to be a much better product than the first brand I tried AND it was cheaper, score! I am soooo happy with the final result.
