For our one year anniversary, we decided a trip to my grandparents newly purchased log cabin in Lake Tahoe was perfect. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't yet snow, but I think Shane was glad to not have to drive in it, but it sure felt cold enough! We spent time cuddling, laughing, exploring, wasted $10 on slot machines, found a cute little beach, and had dinner on the marina- it was perfect. I am slightly sad we couldn't stay longer in our perfect quiet world, but home is definitely where the heart is.
It's been a fun ride together, and I can't wait to see what another year brings.
